On 12th June, International HIV Fund attended and facilitated a working group at a roundtable conference on Global Maternal Health organised by MADE in Europe and the Muslim Charities Forum
Amongst the organisations that were present at the roundtable included Doctors Worldwide, Human Relief Foundation, White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood and the Department of International Development.
Our working group was titled “Mobilising communities in the field” which focused on developing strategies on receiving community support for maternal health projects, involving religious and community leaders in promoting maternal health and challenging religious and cultural barriers.
